First year female judges are required to wear a navy skirt, white blouse, and navy or black low heel or flat shoes. First year male judges are required to wear navy or black slacks and white shirt (navy blazer is fine).
When considering your uniform attire follow these requirementsUniforms
The official NAWGJ uniform needs to be ordered within one (1) year of receiving
your rating to be assigned to any state meets. NAWGJ uniforms may be ordered
from Midway Uniforms (order form in this manual).
Acceptable
- Neutral/ navy hose
- Dressy shirt/blouse
- Dressy shoes (Navy/Black)
- Minimal pins (no more than 2-3)
Unacceptable
- White or other color hose; socks
- No T-shirts, sweaters, mid riff
- No spike heels, sandals, tennis shoes
Midway uniform slacks are now a part of the official NAWGJ uniform. Slacks
may be worn at any meet unless otherwise designated. Uniform skirts only at
the State Meets and above.
Only change attire if the Meet Director, with approval of the SJD, specifies.
You may wear "theme attire" such as Halloween, Christmas, etc. if approved by
the SJD and MD. IT IS ALWAYS CORRECT TO WEAR YOUR UNIFORM. If you decide to
wear theme attire keep in mind:
- Dress Professionally
- Shorts must be dress length
- You may not wear sweatpants
- Sandals should be dressy
